Rare earth battery is a type of lithium ion battery, which is doped with lithium ion battery anode materials. 

Lithium ion battery is a rechargeable battery, which mainly works by moving lithium ions between the positive and negative poles. In the process of charging and discharging, Li+ is inserted and detached between the two electrodes. While Li+ is charging, it is delocked from the positive pole, and it goes through the electrolyte into the negative electrode. Thus, the negative electrode is in a lithium-rich state. Most importantly, batteries generally use materials containing lithium as electrodes.
